Nicholas’ strategic focus and operational expertise were honed over a decade of starting and running his own businesses, combined with corporate management roles in sales, marketing and operations. Nicholas set up two franchise businesses at the age of 22, and successfully ran these operations while simultaneously lecturing strategic planning at UKZN. The experience of building two brand new businesses kickstarted his system-design thinking. He deepened this expertise working in complex operational management roles in corporates, as well as in a new business which he co-founded. Since joining Aurik in 2016 he has played an integral role in the design, build and management of systems and platforms that have enabled the Aurik group of businesses to scale and grow. He is part of the strategic leadership team that has restructured the Aurik group and is driving the continual evolution of the Aurik brands, globally. Nicholas holds a B.SocSci (UKZN) and an Honours in Marketing Management (UKZN).
